In this time of FTAs , Korean enterprises have reinforced overseas market expansion, and in a national context, have contributed to extend the economic territory of Korea. At the same time, they are expanding their impact on host countries.
It is considered that participation and cooperation are foundations to building a reative economy and society. We hope that multinational enterprises will fulfill their corporate social responsibility, contribute to sustainable development, and step forward to implement desirable values.
The Korean National Contact Point (KNCP) was established in 2001 in accordance with The OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. The KNCP promotes and implements the guidelines, pursues proactive agendas, provides resolution methods for different opinions regarding corporate social responsibility, and maintains cooperation with NCPs from other countries. Our ultimate goal is to facilitate investment by encouraging Korean companies to fulfill social responsibility in host countries while promoting international investment.
The KNCP, while being faithful to our mission, will take a leading role in the promotion of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and Corporate Social Responsibility. Thank you for your attention and support.
